The Woman Next Door
This series of images testify the existence of the woman next door. Character that in appearance coincides with the artist. Undoubtedly, the body is the same; the gestures, for the most part too. And I say “the most part”, because the woman next door has particular gestures that only belong to her. Like the quick way that she pulls the hair. Or the singular capacity to expand the arms, shake colors. Or the insistent way in which she hides her face from us. The woman next door likes to wander uninhabited, empty spaces. As if she needed to get rid of everything accesory. Become lighter. She has her own entity and personality, and I have only tried to photograph her.
